There are many boards those are in Pakistan and they are providing students with quality education this was not the same in past in past people were not interested in making their children get education trend was really different but not time is changing and people are now more focused towards making their children get education therefore there is need of independent educational board. In past after formation of Pakistan in khyber pakhtunkhwa educational system was under the University of Peshawar but then the time changed and Kohat board was formed on 19th January.2002, its founder chairman was Brig (Retd) Talat Imtiaz Naqvi.

This board is formed as board of intermediate and secondary education Kohat and this board is spread so vast there are many areas those come under the board and examinations are conducted their talking about the jurisdiction of the board that consist of following areas District Kohat, District Karak, District Hangu, F.R Kohat, Orakzai Agency and Kurram Agency. This board is responsible for many activities as they will have to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class this board also conducts examination for 5th and 8th class these examinations are not compulsory but students appear in them for practice so that they may get prepared for board examination.

There are many government and private schools those appear in examination conducted by the board and many students appear in the board examination those are conducted for 10th class and that is in the month of March and April and after that time comes for result that will be announced in the month of June and July and that time is near students must be excited for that as result will be declared on the official website of the board and also we will display the result that will come and students will be much excited for that to be declared.

Before examination students need to go for registration that is in the month of January and after that students can get their roll number slips and also date sheets so that students can appear in examination by the board in the affiliated centres.
