Pakistan is developing country and education is its basic requirement to develop further talking about remote areas there are many remote areas in Pakistan and that is not having educational system. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kohat is not so well developed area and there is lack of education students were made to move out of cities to get education. In past when Pakistan was formed educational system was under the University of Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but then time changed and Peshawar board was formed after that time changed too and there was a need for board that should be formed in Kohat and that was formed in 19th January, 2002.

Its founder chairman was Brig (Retd) Talat Imtiaz Naqvi this board is spread so vast and there are many regions those come under the board as jurisdiction of the board consist of following areas District Kohat, District Karak, District Hangu, F.R Kohat, Orakzai Agency and Kurram Agency. This board has main function that is to conduct examination those are for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class after that students are provided with certificates so that they can get admission in universities. This board is also conducting examination for 5th and 8th class although those examinations are not necessary but students appear in them for good results and for getting known to the pattern for examination.

There are many students who appear in examination that is from government and also private schools and colleges. Examination for intermediate that is part I and part II are conducted in the month of April and May and after that these students wait for results that is declared in the month of august and September that time is very near and students will be excited for that as result will be declared on the official website of the board and we will also display that on our website.

Before examination registration occurs that is for students and forms are posted to the schools and colleges and also on the official website of the board. After that students can get their roll number slips and date sheets to appear in examination.
