There are many boards in Pakistan those are working and trying to provide students with quality education as this was the main and basic problem faced in remote areas as there were no basic schools and colleges. As after Pakistan was formed educational system was under the University of Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but soon that got over loaded and government decided to form board that was independent it was Peshawar board but then people from remote areas were to move there then there was another board formed that was named as Kohat board of intermediate and secondary education this board was formed in 19th January, 2002.

Its founder chairman was Brig (Retd) Talat Imtiaz Naqvi this board was spread so vast and it consisted of many areas under it its jurisdiction consist of following areas District Kohat, District Karak, District Hangu, F.R Kohat, Orakzai Agency and Kurram Agency. This board has main function that is conducting examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class this board also conducts examination those are for 5th and 8th class although these examinations are not compulsory but students appear in them for practice for good results in compulsory examination.

There are many students who appear in examination that is from government and private schools those are affiliated with the board. There are many students those who appear in examination for matric that consist of regular and private students that is examination for matric part I and part II are conducted in the month of March and April and many students appear in examination after that they wait for results that will be declared soon and that on the official website of the board and also we will display that result on our website too.

Before examination there is registration of students that is done and that in the month of January and that forms are posted to the affiliated colleges and also posted on the official website of the board after that students are provided with their roll number slips and date sheets.
